Cerrone (30-7) has yet to taste defeat since making the jump up to welterweight. In his most recent fight, 'Cowboy' finished Rick Story wth a slick combo at UFC 202 earlier this month. This gave the Jackson-Winkeljohn product three straight stoppage wins at 170-pounds. He previously finishes Alex Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 83 and Patrick Cote at UFC Fight Night 89.

These two wins got Cerrone back on track after suffering 66-second TKO loss to former lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos in their title fight at UFC on FOX 17.
Gastelum (13-2), the winner of the Season 17 of The Ultimate Fighter, is coming off a decision over former champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 200 in July. This got him back in the win column after dropping a close split decision to Neil Magny in the main event of the TUF: Latin America 2 Finale last November.

Prior this setback, the Kings MMA product finished longtime UFC veteran and former Strikeforce champion Nate Marquardt with strikes at UFC 188. He will enter this contest with a UFC record of 6-2.

Here is how the rest of the UFC 205 card is shaping up:
