Fight fans everywhere are rejoicing as UFC 249 is just days away. As we all know, this card will take place in an empty arena kind of like The Ultimate Fighter show was done because of the looming threat of the spread of Covid-19. 

On this week’s Top Turtle Podcast, Gumby Vreeland and David Tramonte debated who was the best complete grappler in every UFC division. 

The rumor mill has been churning and more than one media outlet has spit out that Henry Cejudo is expected to face Jose Aldo for the bantamweight title come May. The controversy in this call is pretty obvious, with a wealth of contenders waiting in the wings and Aldo coming off of a loss (albeit a close one). Many of the top contenders in the division have voiced their displeasure at the rumored bout, from Aljamain Sterling to Petr Yan. 

Frankie Edgar was originally counting on fighting just a month after his bout with the Korean Zombie, but after the fight was over, there was little doubt he’d have to be pulled from his second fight. 

When the UFC is out of the country, sometimes the governing bodies take a while to come out with their list of medical suspensions. In the case of October’s UFC Moscow event there was no governing body. So it's up to the UFC to hand down their suspensions internally with assistance from their medical team.
