UFC Fight Night 99 will feature a welterweight headliner as Dong Hyun Kim squares off against Gunnar Nelson in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The UFC made the bout official earlier today.

Nelson (15-2-1), a training partner of UFC featherweight champ Conor McGregor, will be looking to pick up his second-straight inside the Octagon. In his most recent bout, the SBG Ireland fighter submitted Albert Tumenov at UFC Fight night 87 in May. This put the Icelandic fighter back into the win column after being dominated by Demian Maia at UFC 194 in December.

To date, Nelson has scored stoppages in in  14 of his 15 career wins, including 11 by way of submission.

Kim (21-3) is coming off a violent first-round TKO win over Dominic Waters at UFC Fight Night 79. This pushed the “Stun Guns’s” win streak to two-straight with his previous being a third round submission over Josh Burkman last May. He was expected to face Neil Magny at UFC 202 earlier this month before an injury forced him off the card.

The South Korean has earned wins in six of his last seven contests, including a memorable third round spinning back elbow knockout over John Hathaway. He will enter this bout with nine career stoppage wins, including eight by way of knockout, and a UFC record of 12-3.

UFC Fight Night 99 will go down on Nov. 19 at SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Broadcast plans have not yet been announced.

This event will mark the UFC's second trip in Belfast. The promotion previously held UFC 72, headlined by Rich Franklin vs. Yushin Okami in June 2007, in Northern Ireland.

It should also be noted, this is the first of two fight cards that will take place on Nov. 19 as later that night fans will witness UFC Fight Night 100 in Brazil.

No other fight have been announced for the card.
