#1 – Anthony Hernandez (6-0)
Hernandez captured the vacant LFA middleweight title by defeating former No. 1-ranked Brendan Allen by unanimous decision at LFA 32 on Jan. 26. The 23-year-old now faces fellow undefeated middleweight and No. 5-ranked Jordan Young at Dana White’s Contender Series on June 19.
#2 – Brendan Allen (8-3)
Allen came up short in his second bid for the LFA middleweight title after losing to Hernandez at LFA 32. Still the 22-year-old Roufusport product is one of the youngest fighters on this list and two of his three career losses are to UFC fighters Eryk Anders and Trevin Giles.
#3 – Ian Heinisch (8-1)
Heinisch bounced back from his first career loss by knocking out Daniel Madrid in the second round at LFA 31. The Factory X standout has won four of his eight career fights by stoppage and will face Gabriel Checco at LFA 39 on May 4 for the interim middleweight title.
#4 – Kevin Holland (12-3)
Holland has now won eight of his last nine fights, with his lone loss coming against UFC welterweight Curtis Millender at LFA 13 last year. Holland has finished all of his opponents during that span. The 25-year-old fights June 12 on Dana White’s Contender Series against Will Santiago.
#5 – Jordan Wright (9-0)
Jackson/Winklejohn standout Wright remains in the top five for May as one of two undefeated fighters. The 26-year-old is coming off a first-round submission victory over Craig Wilkerson at LFA 30 in January. Wright is slated to face our No. 1-ranked middleweight Anthony Hernandez at Dana White’s Contender Series on June 19.
