Legion Combat Sports (LCS) 26 came live to FloCombat Saturday, Nov. 18 at Scotts Bluff County Fairgrounds in Mitchell, Nebraska.

Kicking off with four straight first-round finishes, LCS 26 set the tone early, and it didn’t disappoint throughout, climaxing with a main event between Clay Wimer and Joey Munoz.

At 6-1 with his only defeat coming against UFC vet Alvin Robinson, Munoz strolled into the fight on a hot streak, finishing his last four contests (three submissions, one knockout) with none going past the second round.

This one would be different. 

The lanky and creative Wimer gave Munoz fits, controlling the pace and frustrating his opponent with a savvy, aggressive ground game. 

While Munoz swung until the final bell and refused to even consider tapping out despite some close calls, Wimer's offense was too much to ignore, and the judges gave him the nod, 49-46, across the board. 

For his performance, Wimer took home the LCS pro lightweight title.
