A featherweight clash is in the works for UFC on ESPN 1 in Phoenix.
Multiple sources tell FloCombat notable 145-pound fighters Andre Fili and Myles Jury will meet Feb. 17 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in UFC's inaugural televised ESPN show.
Fili, 28, has won two out of his last three bouts inside the UFC Octagon, including wins over Dennis Bermudez and Artem Lobov. In his last outing, the Team Alpha Male product dropped a split decision to former top-five-ranked lightweight Michael Johnson.
Also 2-1 in his last three fights, Michigan’s Jury will look to bounce back following a knockout he suffered at the hands of Chad Mendes in July. Prior to the loss, Jury won back-to-back fights against Mike de la Torre and Rick Glenn.
Currently, the only other bout reported for the UFC’s return to Arizona is a women’s flyweight clash between Lauren Murphy and Ashlee Evans-Smith.
