Arnold Allen Injured, Out Of TUF 28 Finale Clash vs. Rick Glenn
UFC featherweight Arnold Allen is injured and out of his The Ultimate Fighter 28 (TUF 28) Finale matchup vs. Rick Glenn. Details here.
The UFC’s injury bug has knocked off another end-of-the-year featherweight clash, as England’s Arnold Allen has been forced out of his Nov. 30 The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 28 Finale fight against Rick Glenn, sources tell FloCombat.
FanSided's Mike Heck was also on the case Friday morning.
Earlier this month, Allen suffered a laceration in training which caused his subsequent withdrawal.
Allen was originally scheduled to face off against former lightweight title challenger Gilbert Melendez. However, Melendez suffered an injury of his own and was replaced by Glenn.
The 24-year-old Tristar product Allen is still undefeated in his promotional tenure, but he will have to wait a little longer to attempt to extend his UFC record to 5-0.
Meanwhile, the opponent-less Glenn has proven to be a game adversary for any UFC featherweight, sitting at 3-2 in the promotion thus far with every fight going to a decision.
There is no word at this time whether Glenn will remain on the card, which is only 15 days away.
