Sao Paulo's UFC Fight Night 137 isn't done adding fights its lineup. 

FloCombat confirmed with sources close to the situation that UFC veteran Randa Markos (8-6, 4-5 UFC) is expected to square off with recently signed Brazilian Marina Rodriguez (10-0, 0-0 UFC) at the event Sept. 22 in Brazil. 

Less than a month removed from her decision loss at UFC Calgary to Nina Ansaroff, Markos looks to rebound in enemy territory. The 33-year-old fighter has alternated wins and losses stretching back nine fights to her promotional debut in 2014. 

The bout against Rodriguez will serve as The Ultimate Fighter Season 20 veteran’s first outside of North America.

Undefeated through her first 10 professional bouts, Rodriguez is a fighter to watch in the second half of 2018. A relative unknown to UFC fans, her bout for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series has not aired yet.

According to reports, on the opening episode of the Brazilian installment, Rodriguez knocked out opponent Maria Oliveira (10-3) in the first round. 

As a result of the victory, the 31-year-old Rio Grande do Sul native earned herself a UFC contract and will draw Markos for her official promotional debut.
