Team Lakay's Gina Iniong is making a quick turnaround to replace Angela Lee against Mei Yamaguchi at ONE: Immortal Pursuit in Singapore on Nov. 24.

Iniong (6-2) takes the fight just two weeks after defeating Priscilla Lumban Gaol at ONE: Legends of the World. Iniong and Yamaguchi (16-10) previously faced off at PXC 43 in March 2014. Iniong came away victorious via split decision.

Team Lakay announced the news on Facebook.

“Facing Mei Yamaguchi three years ago was like going through the eye of a needle," Iniong said in a statement. "That bout opened doors of great opportunity for me in this sport. I am expecting a tough duel with her again on 24 November in Singapore.

“I have lofty goals in ONE Championship, and I must win this match to achieve them."

Lee, the reigning ONE atomweight world champion, was originally slated for the bout but was forced to withdraw after suffering a concussion in a scary car accident last week.

"Conviction" Iniong is currently on a three-fight winning streak, including two in a row under the ONE Championship banner.
