Super Prospects Collide At Driller Promotions: Mecca X On FloCombat
Super prospects Eli Garcia and David Williams are set to collide at SEG Presents Mecca X on FloCombat.
The Pettis family is already a fighting collective, but the talent in their bloodline runs deep. Eli Garcia, a cousin of UFC stars Anthony and Sergio Pettis, has also been making waves inside the cage.
After winning his first four professional fights, the undefeated flyweight is now facing the toughest test of his young career in David Williams on Saturday night at Driller Promotions: Mecca X on FloCombat.
Garcia recently transplanted to Milwaukee to train at Roufusport Gym, where his family members harnessed their skills in a proven system that has produced future champions and contenders alike. And while Garcia has yet to amass the accomplishments to match his cousins, the highly touted prospect appears to be well on his way to much bigger things.

All but one of Garcia's victories in both amateur and professional competition have come by way of finish, which has fed the fires of hype that surround him. Simply put: Garcia steps into the cage to leave zero question of his dominance, and thus far that's exactly what he's accomplished.
Yet, while Garcia has been making waves in Wisconsin, Williams has been tearing it up right next door in Illinois.
The undefeated talent has also steamrolled his competition as both an amateur and as a professional, notching all three of his pro victories by way of finish. And while there has been a lapse in cage time for Williams, the majority has come as he's attempted to get the fight with Garcia secured.
Both men have been on a collision course since late 2016 to get this fight done, and they will finally scrap this weekend at Mecca 10 in Shakopee, MN.
With the talent both have shown in their careers so far, there's little doubt a bigger stage awaits each man later down the line. That said, just who gets there first will come down to how things play out this Saturday.
