Ronda Rousey Will Make 3 Million Dollars at UFC 207
Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is set to make a big payday at UFC 207.
The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) confirmed earlier this evening that Ronda Rousey will make a disclosed $3 million fight purse at UFC 207 this evening.
Amanda Nunes, her opponent in the main event at the T-Mobile Arena, will take home a fraction of what Rousey is being paid with $100k appearance pay and a potential $100k fight win bonus should she be victorious.
Rousey will not get a fight win bonus if she wins back her UFC women’s bantamweight title this evening.
Rousey’s fight purse will equal the record currently held by Conor McGregor who also took home a disclosed purse of $3 million at both UFC 202 and UFC 205 earlier this year.
Following shortly behind that, Brock Lesnar made a $2.5 million disclosed purse at UFC 200 while Nate Diaz earned $2 million for his first fight with Conor McGregor at UFC 202 in August.
While those are the disclosed purses, it’s important to remember that Rousey this evening and the other mentioned previously will have earned significantly more than reported. Conor McGregor just last month claimed that his $3 million purse at UFC 205 was actually closer to $25 million—it’s likely Rousey is playing in the same ballpark.
The other notable fight purses for this evening’s UFC 207 card include the co-main event fighters—UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz will make $350k (no win bonus), while challenger Cody Garbrandt will make $200k (no win bonus).
Bantamweights John Lineker and TJ Dillashaw will make $43k/$43k and $100k/$100k respectively.
