Johny Hendricks has missed weight ahead of UFC 207. Watch him weigh in here.
Johny Hendricks has missed weight ahead of his UFC 207 bout opposite Neil Magny.
The former UFC welterweight champion struggled once again with his weight cut, coming in at 173.5 pounds, 2.5 pounds over the 171-pound limit for his non-title welterweight affair.
By the look of things, Hendricks knew it wasn't close, as he buried his head in his hands before the official weight was read to the media in attendance.
This marks the second straight fight Hendricks missed weight for, as he came in at 171.25 for his UFC 200 bout against Kelvin Gastelum. Previously, a UFC 192 matchup with Tyron Woodley was scrapped due to weight-cut-related health issues as well.
Hendricks wasn't alone Thursday afternoon.
Flyweight Ray Borg—who also missed weight just two fights ago—came in at 129.5, 3.5 pounds over the 126-pound limit.
The remaining competitors on the Dec. 30 fight card made weight.
