With the hometown crowd showing their support, Browning made his way to the cage to for the first time since 2012 in order to challenge Jeremy Myers on the night's main card. Browning, who initially rose to prominence for his volatile attitude during season 8 of The Ultimate Fighter, looked eager to show he wasn't done with the sport.
Almost immediately Browning shot in and secured the takedown against the fence. After passing to half guard, Browning continued to work the body before flipping Myers over and securing back control. After a few more shots, Browning transitioned to full mount, looking to flatten out his opponent. With Myers reeling beneath him, he continued to rain blows down upon his skull until the referee decided he had seen enough, giving Browning his first win since 2009.
And while the TUF alum was the biggest attraction on the card, a bout between Billy Horne and Michael Cockerham anchored the event.
Seconds into the fight Horne clinched up against the fence, looking to land a series of standing elbows. After a relentless attack he eventually dragged the fight to the canvas where he immediately secured back control and locked on a tight rear naked choke, forcing Cockerham to tap.
