Ronda Rousey's return has been long rumored and highly anticipated. The former queen of the UFC's women's bantamweight division has been missing in action for the past 11 months, but it looks as if she will stamp her official comeback at UFC 207 in Las Vegas on Dec. 30.

UFC President Dana White delivered news that "Rowdy" will face current women's 135-pound champion Amanda Nunes during a stop on Colin Cowherd's show Wednesday afternoon on Fox Sports 1.

Rousey has been on the sidelines since suffering a second-round knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November and will attempt to regain the title Nunes currently holds on the UFC's annual New Year's Eve card.

Nunes comes into the bout with Rousey having won all but one of her previous six bouts and riding a four-fight winning streak, which includes her victory over Miesha Tate to win the women's bantamweight crown at UFC 200 back in July.

Although White has speculated Rousey's return at numerous points throughout the year, his announcement on FS1 solidifies the organization's biggest star is officially stepping back inside the Octagon.
