The reality of boxing great Floyd Mayweather and UFC superstar Conor McGregor ever stepping into the ring or cage is unrealistic, yet that doesn't stop the masses from talking about the fantasy matchup.

When the fighters themselves start throwing jabs it's typically just passable banter, but Mayweather's most recent play seems to have a bit of reality to it. In an interview with FightHype, the pound-for-pound boxing king moved his focus off McGregor, and onto UFC President Dana White.

Mayweather pointed out his career came with bountiful paydays, but every step taken was earned. "Money" doesn't see the same shift happening with the UFC, and thinks it is strange for executives to get rich while the fighters do not.

"It's easy for another guy to speak when he's not in there in a contact sport," Mayweather said. "It's easy to get a ton of money off these UFC guys while they are not really getting paid. He's living better than the UFC guys. There's a difference.

"They can say, 'Floyd is living better than all his fighters,' but guess what? I was a fighter myself so I put in the work on both sides."
