Speaking on his TBS show, Conan O'Brien announced that he is part of a group of 23 stars in sports, TV, and cinema investing in the organization.

O'Brien revealed he is part of a diverse group that includes Ben Affleck, Venus and Serena Williams, Tom Brady, Mark Wahlberg, Adam Levine, Cam Newton, Maria Sharapova, LL Cool J, and Sylvester Stallone, to name just a few.

All of the stakeholders named so far are represented by WME-IMG. The size and terms of their investments are yet to be disclosed.

The UFC is expected to formally announce the news, along with a full list of celebrity investors, on Friday. The company is riding at the moment, following one of the greatest years in their history. The sale in July has been bookended by a fantastic year financially, with two pay-per-views reaching a record number of buys. The UFC's biggest payday is possibly still to come with the promotion's first-ever show in New York, UFC 205, on November 11.
