You would've thought that Conor McGregor would be totally focused on his task at hand in under two weeks time but the Irishman seems determined to take on the whole of the WWE while awaiting his showdown with Nate Diaz.

The feud first erupted on Friday evening when McGregor was asked whether he would ever consider a career in pro wrestling. McGregor answered in typical fashion and left little to the imagination.

"For the most part, those WWE guys are pussies, to be honest. They're messed up p*ssies, if you ask me. Fair play to Brock, he got in and fought," McGregor said. "But at the end of the day he was juiced up to the fucking eye balls. So how can I respect that? And then what's the other guy? The other guy hasn't fought yet, so I don't know about him yet."

McGregor did spare some of the WWE roster, though it was only the promotion's most prominent figures that escaped his wrath.

"The McMahons? They're Dons," he said. "Triple H is a Don. The Rock is a Don. But the rest of them are pussies."

That, everyone thought was that, but last evening the Irishman took to Twitter following the culmination of UFC Fight Night 92 to reiterate the comments he'd made just 24-hours earlier.

This time around, not everyone in the pro-wrestling community has let it go. Roman Reigns and former WWE star Kurt Angle have been among the few to fire back already and the list is growing by the hour.
