It was a clash of champions in the main event at BAMMA USA: Badbeat 20 on Friday night.

Featherweight champion Chris Culley jumped up a weight class to square off with lightweight title holder Chris Saunders to finish off the night at the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles. While Culley’s 145-pound strap wasn’t on the line, it didn’t shake his motivation to capture more championship gold, and that’s precisely what he did against The Ultimate Fighter alum.

Culley used his timing and range to pepper Saunders with combinations throughout the 25-minute battle en route to becoming the new 155-pound champion, and the first ever two-division titleholder under the BAMMA USA banner. It was a crisp performance from start to finish for "The Urban Legend," and one that may put him one step closer to finally reaching a bigger stage in MMA.
