Diller Promotions: No Mercy VII streamed live from the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minnesota Saturday, Feb. 10, bringing a high-octane night of fights with it.
The event produced some high-quality amateur scraps, highlight-reel knockouts, and even a man puking after one of the fights.
Classic.
However, it was the professional fighters who took top billing in the main and co-main event, and they did not disappoint.
In the featured bout of the evening, Montel Jackson (3-0) dominated Jesse Wannemacher (2-1) on the feet, dropping him in the first 10 seconds with a left high kick to the face.
As the fight progressed, Jackson limited Wannemacher's movement and unleashed a varied assault. Jackson finally finished Wannemacher with a straight right hand, moving his record to a perfect (4-0) and cementing himself as a fighter to watch moving forward.
In the co-main event, Collin Huckbody made very quick work of Ryot Miller. Huckbody wasted little time using his wrestling on Miller and gained dominant position in top mount. Collin then secured a tight arm-triangle, giving Miller no choice but to tap out.
In only one minute and 39 seconds in the first round, Huckbody moved to (3-1), with Miller (2-4) heading back to the drawing board.
