Scott Heckman is quietly putting it all together deep into his professional MMA career. 

The 33-fight veteran moved his winning streak to five and defended his featherweight strap with a dominant submission win at Maverick MMA 4, undoubtedly perking up the ears of major promotions in the process. 

Taking on Myron Baker, Heckman immediately took the fight to the ground, and it was a wrap from there, as his superior pressure and transition game led to an early north-south choke finish. 

Heckman also owns wins over current UFC bantamweight Brian Kelleher and Bellator vet Jay Haas, making him an intriguing name to track as he moves forward in his career.
