Caitlin Giesen came out throwing low kicks and throwing them aplenty in the main event at Dynasty Combat Sports 36.

After a brief battle for position in the opening round, Giesen clinched with Kristina Leonard and threw a few good short right hands. Leonard worked for the takedown, but Giesen did a very good job keeping the fight on the feet. She eventually was able to put Leonard on the mat where they remained for the remainder of the round.

To start the second round Leonard came out aggressive and landed an overhand right. Giesen attempted to clinch and weather the storm, but Leonard landed a thunderous right hand that rocked Giesen. Leonard followed up with a number of rights and lefts then unleashed a few uppercuts that dropped Giesen to her knees.

With her opponent hurt Leonard swarmed, and some solid ground and pound led to the referee stopping the fight. Leonard is now a two-division champion and could see bigger stages in her future.
