V3Fights is back in your life, fight fans. 

Airing live on FloCombat at 8 PM ET, V3Fights 73 takes place at Minglewood Hall in Memphis, Tennessee, and features some of the Southeast’s finest up-and-coming mixed martial artists. 

With two (yes, two!) belts on the line in the main event, one thing is certain: Either Jacob Sandlin or Ahva Mayi will walk away as the V3Fights Champ-Champ.

The bout will be held at a catchweight of 140 pounds, with an unusual caveat: both fighters are putting their belts on the line.

Training out of Spartan Fitness MMA and 10th Planet Decatur, Alabama’s Sandlin is one of the more experienced amateurs in the area. Currently serving as the The V3Fights Amateur Bantamweight Champion, Sandlin will look to extend his win streak to three against Mayi.

In January, Tennessee's Mayi beat undefeated prospect Cameron Hall to clinch the V3Fights Amateur Featherweight Championship. The 20-year-old Nashville MMA product will look to defend his belt for the first time, while picking up a second strap in the process.

The bantamweight and featherweight straps won’t be the only titles on the line Saturday night.

In the co-main event, the knockout potential is high as two of V3Fights’ larger competitors will collide.

V3Fights Amateur Heavyweight Champion Dakotah McFerson returns to action against fellow 10-fight veteran Osha Johnson.

Tennessee’s McFerson’s last promotional appearance came at V3Fights 68, when the 25-year-old heavyweight TKO’d Alex Hillard.

Facing what will most likely be his toughest test to date in McFerson, Johnson will look to erase all memory of a recent loss to Avery Wilson by becoming the V3Fights strapholder.

Earlier in the evening, a featured middleweight matchup pairs Rodricus Dansby with Logan Reid. 

Also, welterweights will collide when surging prospect Evan Whited takes on veteran combatant Corre Bently.
