Before Conor McGregor was set to face Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, before he was the champ-champ, and before he scored the 13-second knockout heard 'round the world, he was a loud, hard-hitting prospect from Ireland in search of greatness inside the UFC Octagon. 

After notching a TKO finish of Marcus Brimage in his UFC debut and a unanimous decision over current featherweight champ Max Holloway in his sophomore effort, the UFC matched McGregor with The Ultimate Fighter winner Diego Brandao. 

Dangerous standing and on the ground but somewhat reckless and wild, Brandao provided a strong test for the young Irishman, and all eyes tuned in to see how he would fare. 

Headlining UFC Fight Night 46 in Dublin, Ireland, McGregor didn't disappoint the home crowd.
