Saturday night, the top Muay Thai promotion in North America, Lion Fight, returns to the Foxwoods Resort and Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, for yet another action-packed event.

Steve Walker Returns

In the night’s main event, an experienced European takes on a local favorite in a thrilling international super cruiserweight super fight. 

Latvia’s Kristaps Zile looks to pick up his 28th career victory against undefeated Boston knockout artist Steve Walker.

Now 31 years old, Zile has won 10 straight bouts entering Friday’s affair with Walker. 

Meanwhile, Walker has had two successful title defenses as the Lion Fight North American Super Cruiserweight Champion, making this a high-stakes attraction atop the card. 

Before the main event fighters make their walk to the ring, super lightweights Marcos Vasquez (Cochabamba, Bolivia) and Carlos Lopez (Church Falls, Virginia) will look to thrill the Connecticut fans.

A second super lightweight bout pins top New Englanders against one another. Haverhill, Massachusetts’s Fernando Perez takes on Providence Rhode Island’s Yeison Berdugo.

Rounding out the main card will be a middleweight clash between pro debutant Hero Vincent (Charlotte, North Carolina) and Keeman Diop (Silver Springs, Maryland), as well as a lightweight bout between Alexis Chavarria (Houston, Texas) and Mike Triana (Worcester, Massachusetts).

A fight between Julian Nguyen and Kaleb Hunter was originally scheduled for this event, but an issue with Hunter’s medicals has forced the bout off the card.
