Boxing superstar and heavyweight king Anthony Joshua isn't ruling out a shot inside the UFC Octagon.
The 28-year-old, 6'6", 250-pound Brit boasts a 21-0 record with 20 knockouts inside the ring, making him one of the most feared fighters on the planet today.
Would his skills translate inside the cage? That remains to be seen, but he recently joined Conan O'Brien to discuss the possibility.
"It's not just about the money, but if people wanted it and I felt in my heart that it was the right decision, why not?" Joshua said when asked if he'd take a fight inside the UFC Octagon. "It's just another fight."
That said, Joshua wouldn't just show up, cash the check, and bounce. If he dabbled in MMA, he'd have to give it a fair try.
"But I'd have to train," Joshua said. "I wouldn't just do it for a paycheck, because, this combat sports is a serious sport, concussions in the head and broken ribs and so on, so I have to take it serious. Why make the money if you can't enjoy it? So you have to take it seriously.
"It's not always about the money. I would consider it if my heart told me it was the right thing for me."
