Nick Diaz is the best. 

When he wins fights, he does so spectacularly, overwhelming foes with a relentless, volume-heavy attack that is equally dangerous on the feet as it is on the mats. 

When he loses fights, he still wins in the hearts and minds of his faithful fans and teammates across the globe (Diaz 1, 2, 5—wut!). 

Stockton, California's finest just can't be denied. And whether he's inside the cage, in the driver's seat of his car, or behind the mic for an interview opportunity, Diaz has delivered hilarious and memorable moments like few other fighters throughout MMA history. 

He flat out does not give a f*ck, and that attitude has livened up the MMA world since his pro debut in 2001. He laid down—literally laid down—in the middle of a scrap with Anderson Silva. He talked shit to Carlos Condit mid-title fight (more on that in a moment). 

He calls out his peers, he remains fiercely loyal to his teammates, and he refuses to suffer fools in a fool's game. That's what makes Diaz so damn beloved. 

In honor of his FloCombat commentary debut tonight at AKA: Rite of Passage 3 in Bossier City, Louisiana, we're counting down Diaz's five most memorable quips throughout his career. Let's get it.

5. 'F*ck Your Mother' 

Sometimes, keeping it simple works best. And that is certainly the case with this classic Diaz-ism. 

The beauty of this one is the setting and the delivery, Diaz anxiously dealing with traffic while his phone records the mayhem. When a car beeps at him, he can't contain himself and the world is treated to the No. 5 quote on our list (skip to 14 seconds in the video below). 

No. 4: 'All You Motherfu*kers Are On Steroids' 

Remember how we said Diaz doesn't suffer fools gladly? If you didn't believe us then, maybe this will convince you. 

Following a hearing in September 2015 in which he was handed a five-year suspension by the Nevada State Athletic Commission for weed—yes, seriously—he spoke with journalists outside the venue, dropping this masterpiece (skip to 22 seconds). 

3. 'We're Throwing Spinning Shit Now?' 

If you ever find yourself locked in a cage with Carlos Condit, your first thought probably will not be, "Hey, I should talk shit to this guy." 

But you're not Nick Diaz. 

Taking on "The Natural Born Killer" at UFC 143 for the interim UFC welterweight title, Diaz called out Condit's flashy style in what stands as one of the most memorable lines in MMA history.

Let Condit drop the goods. 

2. 'A Gentlemen Never Tells'

This one's so good, it doesn't even need a setup. In fact, it doesn't even have a setup. It just happens, and it's glorious. Click the video below and take it all in.

Of all the classic Diaz quotes, none sticks with MMA fans and media members alike quite like this one.

It's been made into T-shirts, memes, and designs all over the internet, and it's likely the first quote any fan will think of when they hear the name "Nick Diaz."
