UPDATE: Per the UFC:
"Saturday's UFC Fight Night bout between Gilbert Burns and Olivier Aubin-Mercier has been removed from the card at Amway Center in Orlando. Upon his arrival, the UFC medical team determined that it would be unsafe for Burns to cut additional weight necessary to meet the 156-pound limit. Have a seat, friends. We have some bad news.
According to a source close to the situation, the previously scheduled lightweight showdown between Gilbert Burns and Olivier Aubin-Mercier for Saturday's UFC on Fox 28 card in Orlando, Florida, has been canceled.
The source told FloCombat "the fight is off" but could not confirm any further details.
Burns retweeted something early Wednesday morning that seemed to hint it was a commission issue that led to the cancellation (NSFW language).

Making matters worse, Burns is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career, a vicious knockout of Jason Saggo at UFC Fight Night 116 in Pittsburgh on September 16. Similarly, Aubin-Mercier carried significant momentum into Orlando, as he's won three straight.
The fight likely would have determined which man was ready for some top 15 action moving forward.
