1. That main event, though...

Any great card needs a massive headliner, and Valor Fights vs. Conflict MMA: Worlds Collide certainly checks that box.

In the main event, undefeated regional standouts Luis Pena (3-0) and Kobe Wall (4-0) square up and throw down. The winner of this one will put himself in prime position to make a run at a Bellator/UFC-level contract. That's a fact.

It's not just that they're undefeated -- it's that both Pena and Wall have impressed beyond expectation time and again, showing growth and evolution in each of their bouts.

Pena most recently competed on FloCombat at Valor Fights 41, where he took on the highly touted and undefeated Damir Ferhatbegovic. While Pena entered the bout as the underdog, he absorbed everything Ferhatbegovic threw at him and finished things himself in round two with a textbook triangle choke. In his three pro fights, Pena holds one knockout and two submissions, showcasing a well-rounded attack not often seen at the regional level.

Wall, however, is ready to put Pena through the gauntlet. At 4-0, Wall is the slightly more experienced pro, and all four of those victories came via submission. Wall also last competed at Valor Fights 41, defeating Zach Cook early in Round 1.

Our own James Lynch talked to both Wall and Pena ahead of this fight, further highlighting some key talking points.

2. Lindsey Jones is back, y'all.

While many view Wall and Pena as next-level prospects, Lindsey Jones might in fact have the highest ceiling of anybody competing at Valor Fights vs. Conflict MMA: Worlds Collide.

The 22-year-old Georgia native trains with the animals at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Florida, and he's flashed vicious knockout power in both of his pro fights to-date.

First, he knocked out pro-wrestler-turned-MMA-fighter David Cash -- AKA Kid Kash -- at Valor Fights 38. That looked something like this:

Then, Jones pasted Jeff Powell at Valor Fights 42 with some brutal ground-and-pound, snagging No. 6 in our top-10 finishes of the month in the process.

If he continues this run, there's no doubt the big dogs will be knocking sooner than later.

3. Chase Boutwell put to the test.

If you've never seen a Chase Boutwell bout, well, you're missing out.

At 4-0, Boutwell is one of the most promising amateur fighters on the planet. He recently won the UMMAF National Championships, earning a chance to represent the United States in Bahrain for the international competition.

He also engaged in one of the best amateur fights ever on FloCombat against Stone Beverly at Valor Fights vs. Warrior FC: Border Wars. If you haven't seen that three-round war yet, here's your chance:

Boutwell's matchup Saturday, where he takes on Hunter Thomas, will likely be his last before shipping overseas for that tournament.

Adding even more intrigue, Thomas is 4-0 just like Boutwell and figures to be the young fighter's toughest test to date. Did we mention Boutwell is only 18?

He's 18. The dude can't even buy a post-victory beer yet.

But he can lace'em up and scrap Saturday at 7 PM ET right here on FloCombat, so sit back, buckle up, and watch the future unfold.
