Prospects Set To Shine At Conflict MMA 43
A collection of the best up-and-coming talent South Carolina has to offer is set to be on display at Conflict MMA 43 Saturday night live on FloCombat. The event takes place at the Jamil Shrine Arena and kicks off at 8:00 pm EDT.

A Rising Star Looks To Continue Shining

There is a serious amount of buzz building around Da'Mon Blackshear.

"The Diamond" parlayed an outstanding amateur career where he found success in all but one of his eight showings into a strong start in the professional ranks. Blackshear has won all three of his showings since making the jump and looked damn near unstoppable in each of those performances.

In order for Blackshear's profile to keep growing he'll need to fight tough competition on the regular, and his upcoming bout with fellow unbeaten Aalon Cruz is exactly the type of matchup needed to keep things rolling. Should Blackshear put on another dominant performance on Saturday night, the distance between him and the biggest stages in the sport will grow significantly shorter.

Did I Mention There Are Future Stars On The Card?

In the mix of talented prospects on the billing for Conflict MMA 43, there is perhaps none with more legitimate hype than Edward Massey.

"The Ninja" experienced mixed results during his time as an amateur, but whatever kinks Massey needed to workout in his game have apparently been taken care of as the 23-year-old bantamweight has been flawless as a professional.

Massey put together a perfect 2016 campaign winning all three of his fights, and has his 2017 run off to a solid start as well. He defeated Zac Cooper at Valor Figths 40 back in February, and will be looking to keep the buzz surrounding him growing on Saturday night. In a fitting test he'll face Tapology's No. 3 ranked bantamweight in South Carolina in Varon Webb, in a bout that is guaranteed to keep fight fans talking long after the smoke clears in Columbia on Saturday night.

Speaking Of Rankings

Of all the accolades and credentials on the card for Conflict MMA 43, the No. 1 ranked heavyweight fighter in the state will step in to throw hands on Saturday night.

While Adrian Henderson suffered a loss in his most recent showing last October, his three stoppage victories leading up to that bout were enough to bring the spotlight his way. Henderson is a heavy-handed knockout artist with several submission victories to his credit, which makes him a versatile threat once the cage door closes.

Henderson will be facing newcomer Brandon Sayles who has found victory in all but one of his four showings as a professional. The Georgia-based heavyweight will be looking to come into South Carolina to steal Henderson's thunder rather than catch said thunder on the chin.

Simply put: Henderson needs to get back into the win column to keep his hopes for a big stage rolling and Sayles could have a big night if he steals the show with a win. That's MMA drama at its finest.
