Former UFC fighter Roger Narvaez is determined to get back to the big stage and he took another step on Saturday night at Fury FC 17.

"The Silverback" was released from the most prominent promotion following a loss to Elias Theodorou back in 2015, and the Texan bounced back strong with a victory in his first bout for Fury. He came in against a game Antonio Jones in the main event from San Antonio, a fighter figured to be a stepping stone on Narvaez's road back to the show. That wouldn't be the case.

While Narvaez dominated the first two rounds, Jones bounced back with a vengeance in the final three rounds. Jones kept the action on the feet where he battered Narvaez with combinations en route to pulling off the upset and taking the unanimous decision victory.
