Two flyweights with vastly different trajectories collided today at Fight Nights Global 64, and the underdog rose to the occasion in stunning fashion.

Former Bellator and WSOF fighter Tyson Nam squared off with former UFC flyweight title challenger Ali Bagautinov, in the Russian's first bout since being released from the biggest promotion in the sport. Many assumed Bagautinov would roll over the gritty striker, and for the better part of the three-round affair he was on his way to victory.

Yet, MMA is a sport where chaos reigns supreme, and with one second remaining in the bout, Nam landed a head kick flush and ushered Bagautinov into the violent sleeps. And while Nam has certainly put away a few cats in his day, his starching of Bagautinov was the first time the former top-ranked flyweight has ever been finished in his career.
