3 Reasons To Watch CES 43: Future Stars Series Live On FloCombat
CES launches fighters to the UFC, and the next generation takes over FloCombat April 15 at 7 p.m. EDT at CES 43. Get pumped.
Rhode Island-based promotion CES MMA makes its FloCombat debut this Saturday, April 15, at 7:00 p.m. EDT, as CES 43: Future Stars Series takes place at North Shore Music Theater in Beverly, Massachusetts.
CES has produced a number of notable fighters from the East Coast including UFC standouts Rob Font, Charles Rosa and Eric Spicely, and the next MMA sensation could very well emerge from this showcase Saturday night.
Need any more reason to check out CES 43? Here are three reasons to watch.
Pedro "The Beast" Gonzalez returns to the CES cage for the first time in over a year when he battles BJJ standout Bruno "Jacare" Dias in the main event.
Gonzalez (11-5) should get one of the biggest receptions of the evening, as the Sityodtong product lives five minutes away from the arena. The 29-year-old fighter hasn’t lost a fight since 2012 and boasts 10 submission victories in 16 career fights. For Gonzalez, this is a make-or-break fight, as he promised himself a UFC contract before 30 or retire.
Dias (19-9) wants to play spoiler in his North American debut. He heads into this matchup off back-to-back losses in the Russian promotion ACB. The 30-year-old submission wizard figures to match up well against Gonzalez's ground game, as he has 14 wins by submission in 38 career fights.

Bantamweight standout Rico DiSciullo looks to bounce back from the first loss of his professional career when he battles Matt Lozano at CES 43.
DiScuillo (6-1) spoke to FloCombat last week and talked about how a small mistake cost him a win in that setback to David Garcia.
Training out of Sityodtong in Boston, the 30-year-old combatant trains with the likes of Rob Font, UFC vet Tateki Matsuda and was in Buffalo last week cornering his good friend Charles Rosa at UFC 210.
Lozano (8-4) is also coming off a loss in his last fight and moves back up to the bantamweight division, where he previously fought in his CES debut in 2016. The Next Generation MMA product has fought for a number of different promotions, including Bellator MMA and World Series of Fighting (WSOF).
OK, not really bareknuckle. Highly touted prospect Connor "Bareknuckle" Barry looks to keep his unblemished record intact when he battles Andrew Osborne. Barry (3-0) should also get a big pop during fight night, as he’s from nearby Lowell, Massachusetts.
The 21-year-old prospect has won two of his three career fights by stoppage and will be facing his most experienced opponent to date.
Osborne (7-10) has hit a rough patch in his career, losing five fights in a row and has a tremendous opportunity to steal Barry’s spotlight. The Fayetteville, North Carolina, native will be heading into enemy territory looking for his first win since 2013.
