3 Reasons To Watch Valor Fights 42 On FloCombat
If you're an MMA fan, you can't miss Valor Fights 42, live on FloCombat Saturday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Here's why.
Valor Fights 42 emanates from Cocke County High School in Newport, Tennessee, this Saturday, April 15, at 6:30 p.m. EDT, LIVE on FloCombat.
From noted veterans to some of the hottest up-and-coming prospects, Valor Fights brings a little something for everyone with this event. Here are three reasons to watch.
In the main event, undefeated Quinten Culpepper moves up to the lightweight division to take on local hero Steven Hagg.
Culpepper (2-0) made his professional debut last year, racking up back-to-back stoppage victories over BJ England and Jonathan Pearce. The 29-year-old fighter competes for Valor Fights for the third straight time and has yet to hit the judges’ scorecards both in his amateur and professional career. Here's a little example of the type of power Culpepper can dish out:
Yup.
Hagg (2-1), meanwhile, bounced back from the first loss of his career when he submitted Randy Stamey last year at Valor Fights 36. “Smooth” has fought his entire career for Valor Fights and his lone loss was to Knoxville MMA standout Nick Gehrts, where he lost a split decision at Valor Fights 30.
Lindsey “Sweet Tea” Jones looks for back-to-back victories when he takes on Jeff Powell in a welterweight affair. Jones (1-0) is famously known for knocking out former professional wrestler David “Kid” Cash in his last fight at Valor Fights 38. The 22-year-old scrapper went 3-1 as an amateur and trains out of the lauded American Top Team camp. Word on the street is this youngster has a bright future ahead. Tune in to watch his next step at Valor Fights 42.

Duckett (0-1) came up short in his professional MMA debut, losing by knockout to Michael Whaley back in November. “Bearcat” trains at Team Oxendine in Johnson City, Tennessee.
