Every fighter who steps into the realm of combat knows the phrase "protect yourself at all times," but it's rare that a referee needs to heed his own advice. 

Such was the case at a recent Muay Thai event, where the referee was caught cold by a spinning backfist gone astray. 

Shogun Gym Lebanon was on the scene, and they captured the video, which later surfaced on the MMA subreddit /r/MMA.
