2016 The Bowerman Award Ceremony - Dec. 16

Collegiate track & field's most outstanding male athlete and female athlete from the 2016 season will be awarded The Bowerman in a 7 p.m. ET ceremony on Dec. 16 LIVE streamed on FloTrack.com free of charge.

This year's award show will whittle down three female finalists and three male finalists to one Bowerman winner per gender. In contention for the women's award are Courtney Okolo of Texas, Keturah Orji of Georgia and Raven Saunders of Mississippi. The men's award will come down to Texas A&M's Donavan Brazier, three-time finalist Edward Cheserek of Oregon, and Jarrion Lawson of Arkansas. WATCH LIVE

2016 FloTrack Beer Mile World Championships - Dec. 17

The third annual FloTrack Beer Mile World Championships are returning to the Austin American-Statesman on Dec. 17. Both the men's and women's world records were broken at the Statesman last December. Erin O'Mara will be back to defend her world record and world championship, while world record holder Corey Bellemore will make his World Championships debut against last year's world champion, former beer mile world record holder Lewis Kent.
Six of the nine fastest men ever in the beer mile and four of the seven fastest women ever will be competing in Austin. WATCH LIVE

The Dark Horse Bouldering Series, Round 3 - Dec. 17

The Dark Horse Bouldering Series has grown to become one of the largest bouldering comps in the country. The best climbers in the world have competed over the course of the last seven seasons, all vying for the elusive title of Dark Horse Champion. The third round of The Dark Horse Bouldering Series goes down this Saturday at MetroRock Climbing Center in Everett, Mass., just outside of Boston. Reno Tournament of Champions - Dec. 16-18

Billed as the "toughest tournament in the USA," the Reno Tournament of Champions will once again feature a loaded high school field with nearly 60 teams from 13 different states. The field is led by #18 Allen (TX) and #19 Choctaw (OK).

The collegiate portion of the event kicks off Sunday and will feature some starters from #1 Oklahoma State and a complete lineup from #2 Penn State. Boise State, Cal Poly Cal State Bakersfield, Michigan State, #15 Stanford, and Wyoming round out the D1 portion of the field. WATCH LIVE

Kansas City Stampede - Dec. 16-17

In its 12th year, the Kansas City Stampede will feature 40 elite high school teams from 11 states around the country. This year's edition boasts more than 40 reigning high school individual state champions, 28 teams that placed in the top 4 of their state tournaments, and more than 150 returning state medalists. The loaded field of teams is led by No. 13 Tuttle (OK) and No. 17 Sand Springs (OK). The individual field is led by junior world bronze medalist Daton Fix. WATCH LIVE

Galleria Games - Dec. 17

The Birmingham Crossplex has been hot with nation leading times in the first two weeks of live streamed events. Saturday should blow up the national rankings even more. Elite sprinters from Texas all the way to Florida will be facing off all day long. Noah Igbinoghene will battle Marcus Smart in the 60m and 200m. Rising youngster Sterling Lester will try to hold off the challengers in the girls sprinting events.

Hokie Holiday Festival - Dec. 17

The Hokie Holiday Festival will be this Saturday, Dec. 17, at Virginia Tech's Rector Field House. It will be run on Virginia's only current active banked track that is known to be one of the fastest mondo surfaces in the nation.

MSTCA Winter Festival - Dec. 17-18

The Massachusetts indoor season gets underway with the first major invitational of the year. Live all day Saturday and Sunday featuring multiple New England champions including Brooke Lynn-Williams and Rodney Agyare-May.
