Anthony Pettis versus Max Holloway might be topping the bill at UFC 206, but for many fight fans, the real main event is Doo Ho Choi taking on Cub Swanson.

The fight has all the makings of a classic. With the built-in storyline of the young gun taking on the seasoned veteran, one of these two men could be taking home the headlines with a standout performance on Saturday night at Rogers Centre.

Choi, 25-years of age with a professional record of 15-1, is currently riding a 12-fight win streak and has won all three of his fights under the UFC banner inside the first round via KO/TKO. His babyface looks and aggressive, ruthless fighting style has already won him plenty of fans.

Perhaps most importantly, Choi's stunning start to his UFC career has drawn the attention of UFC President Dana White, who spoke to Spotvnews about how impressed he'd been with Choi since his arrival in the organization.

"I don't think it's an overstatement," White said when asked if a title shot could be in sight for Choi. "It's no surprise, Choi's progression so far has been almost identical to that of Conor McGregor. I don't think that Choi is being overrated.

"Choi doesn't feel nervous at all when he fights. He doesn't seem to feel pressure. He finishes his opponent without any hesitation and when he first fought in Korea last November [against Sam Sicilia], his home crowd cheered like crazy when he turned it around and got the TKO.

With the UFC still searching for their first ever Asian champion, there are high hopes that Choi will one day compete for a UFC title and get the region off the mark.

White however, says regardless of where Choi is from, he's destined for big things and with an impressive win against Swanson on Saturdaynight, his title shot opportunity could come sooner than most expect it to.

"Choi is a superstar regardless of nationality," White said. "If you're Korean, American, or any country, you have to pay attention to Choi.

"If he beats Swanson, if he gets the finish, he'll likely be in the top 5 in the world and at some time fight for the title."
