We are one week on from Gegard Mousasi claiming he received a threatening message from Conor McGregor, but still the inquisition goes on. 
 
Last week, questions arose when Mousasi stated he'd received a threatening message from the Irishman after his comments at UFC 204 post-fight press conference.
 
"He was cursing at me, the little f**k, he was threatening me," Mousasi told Tony Reid of Flocombat. "I said 'What are you going to do with your 50 kilos?' The f****r was threatening me with a knife. He knows I could beat his ass any day."
 
Earlier this week, we caught up with Mousasi and asked him about the message. He declined when we asked him if we could see  the message, but reiterated that it wasn't something he had made up.
 
"I got it, but I don't do my Twitter, my manager sent me the message," Mousasi said. "I have it, but it's not that important."
 
"I have it, I didn't make it up. I don't even want to talk about McGregor again. I said it 100 hundred times, everyone asks about McGregor. Who the f*** is this guy? He's a good fighter, but come on. I'd rather talk about something else."
 
Since letting the world know about the message, Mousasi has received some backlash on Twitter from some McGregor fans. The Dutchman said he doesn't think that is such a bad thing though and that at this point he welcomes all the attention he can get.
 
"Just a few, two or three guys, probably because of this interview a lot more will come," Mousasi said. "I think it's funny--let them hate. They are talking about me, let them hate. They are all Irish. Good for them. Good for them. Let them come. Let them talk about me. The more hate the better for me."
