Evolution Fighting Championship 4 Results: Chris Harris Remains Undefeated
Evolution Fighting Championship 4 brought high-octane kickboxing and MMA to Wichita. View the full results here.
Evolution Fighting Championship 4 invaded Wichita's Kansas Star Arena Saturday evening, bringing a loaded kickboxing/MMA hybrid card with it.
From top to bottom, the card brought the audience to its feet, providing vicious knockouts, slick submissions, and back-and-forth brawls aplently.
In the night's main event, undefeated mega prospect and Bellator MMA veteran Chris Harris faced Wayman Carter in a high-stakes MMA bout. Carter came out blazing, throwing a variety of kicks, knees, and punches Harris' direction.
Harris, however, covered up and smartly avoided any major damage throughout this initial onslaught. Playing off his opponent's aggressiveness, Harris countered with a takedown, and the bout was sealed from there. The undefeated fighter transitioned to mount, where he rained down elbows and forced Carter to give up his back. From there, Harris sunk in the rear-naked choke, and the bout was sealed.

Now 8-0, Harris will undoubtedly find himself on the national radar of the major players in the MMA scene.
Elsewhere on the Evolution Fighting Championship 4 card, Marcio Navarro (28-0) took on newcomer Branden Chevrefils in a kickboxing match. While many figured Navarro would blow through Chevrefils with ease based on experience alone, the bout went the distance, with each man scoring cleanly and often.
A true rock-em, sock-em affair, this bout is one you need to see. Here's what Navarro did to Chevrefils at the end of Round 2:
