Caged Madness 45 Results: TJ Rigel Submits Austin Meese, Finishes Aplenty

Caged Madness 45 brought Ohio's finest amateur MMA prospects to FloCombat Friday evening, delivering hot-fire matchups from start to finish.
The name "Caged Madness" is synonymous with nonstop action and furious finishes in the world of MMA, and Caged Madness 45 added another chapter to the Book of Bonkers. The event featured 14 fights—and 12 ended via knockout or submission.
In the main event, local star Austin Meese, cousin to UFC bantamweight standout Cody Garbrandt, suffered a quick submission defeat at the hands of TJ Rigel.
Rigel, a former Ohio State University wrestler, took Meese down immediately and smoothly transitioned into an armbar. Meese attempted to slam his way out of the submission attempt, but Rigel only locked it in deeper, forcing his opponent to tap in the very first round.
