One of the most exciting all-amateur promotions in the nation, Warrior Nation Fight Series returns to the FloCombat Event Hub this Saturday.
WNFS 41: Marion Mania II and its 13-amateur fight card kicks off at 7 PM CDT from Marion, Ohio on September 24.
Here are three reasons to watch WNFS 41, which you can watch live only on FloCombat.
Over its past two events, only one fight on a Warrior Nation Fight Series card has gone the distance. No major league MMA promotions can boast those kinds of finishes.
If you look back even further, WNFS has had 25 fights end in the first round in its past five events.
Compared to the big leagues, WNFS' high rate of finishes is unparalleled. For the UFC in its past five events, over 43 percent of its fights have gone to a decision.
Obviously, amateur MMA doesn't showcase the highest level of technique, but unlike their professional counterparts, these fighters often compete with nothing to lose.
If finishes and quick fights are what you're after, then you'll definitely get your bang for your buck with WNFS. You can watch all the insane finishes on FloCombat this Saturday.
There is just something special about amateur heavyweight fights. You really never know what you're going to get.
At one end of the spectrum, heavyweights put on fights where you don't want to blink, and you know the fight could end at any second. But on the other end, the fight could go all three rounds with fans watching through their fingers.
Both fight possibilities are appealing in their own way.
The headliner at Warrior Nation Fight Series 41 is a heavyweight matchup that's been months in the making.
Elliott Toland (2-0) waited more than a year to make his return to the cage, and he's taking on the more experienced Kaleb Raymond (4-4).
These two are actually making the drop down in weight, as both the fighters have competed at super heavyweight in the past.
In his last fight at WNFS 36, Raymond finished Kyle McClain by submission in the second round. Toland's last fight was back in August of last year, when he won by first-round knockout.
It's very likely that one of these fighters will walk away with the finish, but who will come out of the cage with their hands raised? Find out Saturday only on FloCombat.
Tyler Mees and Lyle Lutz don't really like each other, so why not fight?
This matchup is as easy as that. The pair will throw down at WNFS 41 in a lightweight bout, and Mees (4-1) is really going out of his way to take this fight. He's never had a fight above 145 pounds and even fought at bantamweight in the past.
On the other side of the cage, the hometown fighter Lutz (2-0) has only fought at 155 pounds. He's coming off a unanimous decision win over Dominique Ayers at WNFS 35.
Mees also fought at WNFS 35, where he won in 50 seconds over Jimmy Dean Reed with an armbar. His latest victory, which was also a submission, happened in June over Kevin McCallion.
This scrap, as well as the weigh-ins' face off, will surely be fireworks, so fire up your FloPRO accounts Saturday for Warrior Nation Fight Series 41: Marion Mania II.
