Mark Hunt: "Let's all cheat, let's all stick needles in our asses"
Mark Hunt refuses to remain silent following to drug-test failures by Brock Lesnar post-UFC 200. Read his scathing comments here.
Mark Hunt is still feeling the effects from UFC 200.
Hunt was defeated by Brock Lesnar July 9 via unanimous decision at the event, but just a few days after, it was revealed that Lesnar had been cited for two separate violations of the USADA anti-doping program, failing tests that had taken place both before and after the showdown.
Hunt hasn't been cordial since hearing he fought a man who had allegedly been using performance-enhancing drugs. Speaking Monday on Ariel Helwani's The MMA Hour, he didn't mince his words.
"No one there has bothered to call me about any of those cheating motherfu*ckers," Hunt said. "You know what the worst thing is about the whole scenario? It's that the UFC don't do sh*t about it. They aren't doing a whole fricking thing about all these cheating monkeys. The whole reason why I'm so upset isn't because this is the first--or second--this is the third time I've fought someone that has been cheating.
"The thing is, there is no compensation. There is nothing. You lose 20 percent when you don't make weight. If you get caught doping, for sticking needles in your arse, then you get nothing, they don't give you nothing. They just say 'Here's a two-year ban, see you later.'"
To Hunt, this is unacceptable, and he offered an alternative plan of attack to punish those who fail drug tests.
"You should lose all the percentage of that money, everything, and you should be sued," Hunt said. "You should be in a criminal court of law for sticking needles in your bum hole and for cheating. "Why aren't these people doing anything about it? They are doing nothing about it. People are saying to me, 'Hey, Mark, we are three weeks down the line now, why are you still complaining?' I'm not complaining. I just want something done about it."
Since learning of Lesnar's failed tests, Hunt's made it very clear he either wants Lensar's full fight purse or he will never fight in the organization again. On The MMA Hour, he reiterated these comments.
"At this moment, I don't care what they do," Hunt said. "I don't want to be a part of this company unless they do something about this sh*t, unless they do something about this cheating. It's like the whole roster is cheating. One person gets pinged, another person gets pinged, and they aren't doing anything about it.
"If you are going to make it a cheating sport, then lets all motherf*cking cheat. Let's all cheat, let's all stick needles in our asses and see who's the first person to die. It sucks because it's so ridiculous."
