Valor Fights swung the spotlight to the up-and-coming competitors on their roster as APEX 11 hit Newport, TN. on Saturday night.

The main event featured two undefeated fighters as Trevor Wilds and Mitchell Flemming locked up for the promotion’s welterweight title. Wilds--the No. 2 ranked middleweight in Tennessee according to Tapology--made his debut showing at 170-pounds while Flemming came in looking to slow his opponent’s momentum.

While it was a back-and-forth affair throughout the three round tilt, it was Wilds who would tip the balance in the final round and a half to get his hands on APEX championship gold.
