That's because McGregor has been linked with a bout against Floyd Mayweather Jr., of course. On the surface, it seems like such a silly thing to talk about, because there's no chance the two will ever face off. Right?
Probably not. But both men have openly discussed wanting to fight each other, and Mayweather recently said he thinks the fight will happen. It likely won't happen unless McGregor either gets the blessing of the UFC or challenges the UFC's contract under the Ali Act.
