Official Recap and Results from KCFA 18
There was a lot of buzz surrounding Grant Dawson coming into his bout with Hugh Pulley at KCFA 18, but it was “The Wolverine” who stole the spotlight.

The St. Louis native put the highly touted prospect away with a torrent of elbows to the head as Dawson worked for a single leg takedown. After multiple shots landed unanswered, the referee jumped in to stop the fight and Pulley set about his celebration.

The 20-year-old Nebraska native immediately protested the stoppage, but the damage was done and Dawson was handed the first loss of his professional career. On the other side of the equation, Pulley kept his momentum building, and a victory over Dawson could be the catalyst for the move up to a larger stage he’s been waiting for.
