KCFA 18 will be streamed live on FloCombat.com on April 30, and the Kansas City-based promotion has put together a card that will pack a punch at the Truman Memorial Building in Independence, Missouri.

Top-ranked Midwest lightweight Grant Dawson will put his 9-0 unbeaten record on the line in the main event when he faces Bellator veteran, Hugh Pulley. "The Wolverine" is coming off a split-decision win over Eric Irvin at Belabor 138, and he will endeavor to stop Dawson’s surging trajectory that has never seen the 22-year-old enter the third round of a contest.

Last August, Dawson underlined his claims to the world’s biggest stages by winning a four-man tournament in a single day. He also put his name in the hat as a short-notice replacement for Rafael Dos Anjos when he pulled out of his UFC 196 bout with Conor McGregor.

Featherweight Yazan Hajeh will make his third professional outing in the co-main event where he will pit his skills against one of Nebraska’s best bantamweights, Jacob Akin. Despite the parity in Akin’s 7-7 record, he poses a test of experience for Hajeh, who trains with a host of UFC talent at Glory in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The Israeli’s skill set is so highly regarded that unorthodox UFC veteran Tim Elliot uses him as his main training partner.

Hajeh won his first two pro bouts. His most recent was in February against Horacio Escobar. Akin, who will move up to featherweight for the bout, will take the momentum of his first-round submission win over Jordan Hernandez in January into the co-main clash.

In the first pro bout of the night, bantamweights Zach Hubbard and Joey Estrada will look to even out their losing records. Hubbard has not tasted victory in his
last three tests. Similarly, Estrada is coming off two back-to-back losses.

No. 1-ranked Midwest amateur lightweight Brexton Everett will take his stellar 12-0 record into his meeting with Zach Long in the amateur main event. The Joe Wilk standout has been making waves on the amateur scene, but Long’s brutal ground-and-pound has claimed wins over Tyler Schmidt, Kevin McDowell and Dominic Garcia at previous KCFA events.

Established amateur bantamweights Autumn Cameron and Florina Meatu-Moeller are also set to face off on the night. Meatu-Moeller is looking to show the improvements she has made since moving her training over to Glory under the watchful eye of UFC veteran Zak Cummings.

The remainder of the highly anticipated card is made up of fledgling amateur bouts.

In addition, the undefeated Chance Camacho will face Brandon Evans in a bantamweight bout. Eric Hicks will meet Cole Renick at featherweight, with Renick also boasting a clean record going into the contest. Calvin Williams will square off against Mike Breedan at lightweight and Tyler Southerland is also booked to trade leather with Alex Pedockie. Cody King and Alan Olivas will contest the only flyweight bout of the night and Derek Mills is set for action against Tyler Rowe in a light-heavyweight contest to open the night’s action.
