Francis Ngannou Sends Message to Cain Velasquez, Wants 'Legendary' Fight
Rising UFC heavyweight star Francis Ngannou sends well wishes and request to fight former champion Cain Velasquez.
Francis Ngannou is on the fast track to becoming a star in the UFC heavyweight division. "The Predator's" knockout power and aggressive style have made him a fighter to watch, but his emerging personality increases his fan base by the day.
Following his victory over Andrei Arlovski at UFC on Fox 23 back in January, the Paris transplant laid out a healthy list of fighters he wants to see standing across from him inside the Octagon. One name that certainly stood out was former heavyweight champion and perennial title threat Cain Velasquez.
The AKA staple was forced out of his bout with Fabricio Werdum at UFC 211 with yet another injury, and recently stated he is unable to set any type of timeline for his return. While that news is certainly disappointing for fight fans, Ngannou appears to be pushing some positivity in the former champion's direction.
The rising star took to Twitter on Tuesday afternoon to not only wish Velasquez a speedy recovery, but to heal up so they can step into the cage for an epic showdown.

Balls and class all in the same turn make it easy to see why Ngannou is quickly becoming a fan-favorite.
